Como Secondary College Extension & Refurbishments

Swan Construction were engaged to construct an extension at Como Secondary College to create a new cafeteria and dining area under the WA schools Recovery Refurbishments program.

Our scope also comprised refurbishments to existing Kitchens, Prep, and Admin Office, including installation of new stainless-steel joinery, and new serving passes at two points.

We scheduled the demolition, refurbishment, and structural works to commence in line with the school holiday period. The school remained live and occupied for most of the following construction programme.

Landscaping and repaving across the courtyard was undertaken in the final stages of the project before handing over on time as scheduled.
