Retrofitting mechanical and electrical services into an existing building posed significant challenges due to the structural limitations and confined spaces. One of the most demanding aspects of the project was the installation of the new chimney for fume cupboard exhaust system through the building, along with the construction of the new Plant Room on level 2 . These works involved high-risk activities, including the lifting and positioning of large, heavy mechanical and electrical equipment into a newly constructed second- floor plant room.
