Singapore Flying College

The Singapore Flying College's South Accommodation Block was outdated and required a comprehensive refurbishment, including extensive mechanical and lighting upgrades, as well as external building enhancements.

Location: Jandakot
Designers: Ryan Tsen Architects, Decobu
Size: 9,959m2
Duration: 30 Weeks
This encompassed redesigning the building façade and revamping key areas such as the dining hall, commercial kitchen, 38 bedrooms, and 2 separate living units. Every aspect was meticulously planned to optimize functionality and enhance the overall experience for students and staff.

By adopting a phased approach, Swan Group ensured minimal disruption to the College’s operations, allowing activities to continue seamlessly throughout the renovation process.

To guarantee the design met the highest standards of functionality for students, a mock-up room was created. This allowed the client to review and approve the design before committing to the full refurbishment.

This is the second project delivered for Singapore Airlines.
